Elongate fruit with light green skin and dark green netting. Fruit 9-11.8", 6.5-7.75" wide, and 7.5-14.7 lbs. Size is somewhat uniform as several smaller fruit are about half the size of the larger fruit. Rind 0.5-0.75" thick. Red flesh is juicy with many seeds, sweet, and somewhat stringy. Black seeds. Moderate productivity and late maturing when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE by John Austin (MT AU J) who acquired this variety from Fishers Garden Store (CV Fis). John indicated in his 1997 SSE Yearbook Exchange listing that this variety is a sport of a melon developed by Ken Fisher of Fisher's Seed of Belgrade, MT. SSE Accession # 127967
