Paprika, Sweet Orange

Capsicum annuum. Sweet pepper. Fruit a 5-sided bell, maturing from green to yellow to orange, 1.25" long and wide, upright on the branches, with medium-thick flesh. Plants 24-32" tall and 20" wide. Flowers white. Fruits retain their orange color when dried, producing a sweet, spicy paprika powder. Grown by Wesley Meeker and Gene Forster in 2021 for the Collection Documentation Project; the former called the variety "a new family favorite...we will never grow another paprika pepper again!"
