C. annum. New Mexican type pepper. The stems are mostly green with some purple at the nodes, though the leaves are solid green. The elongate fruits with pointed ends mature from green to red. They grow in a pendant position. The peppers measure 5.5-7" long and 1.5" wide. This is a deliciously sweet pepper with a mild heat! It is firm and crunchy with thick skin. They are also very juicy.
