Commercial variety from Fedco. buff skin, white flesh Released in 1932 by the USDA and Maine, it is the standard to which all storage potatoes are compared. Spreading plants can produce some big tubers. The tubers tend towards the soil’s surface, so hill well. Resistant to mild mosaic, but not spindle tuber, leafroll, or scab. Medium-to-large spreading plant with many large light purple flowers.
