PI 357585 (Yugoslavia)

Sweet type. Green fruits with thick walls. Small size fruits are about 1.5" tall x 3" wide and produces plenty of seeds. Squat, lobed fruit shape. Slow growing plant comes on late into the season. Heavy producer. Very sweet with a traditional green pepper flavor. Grown by Jeannette Lawson in 2024 for the Collection Documentation Project; Jeannette commented that the pepper would be great for compact gardening and that they would definitely grow the plant again. Donated to SSE by Howard Essl (MD ES H) who received this variety in 1991 from Gary Klimek (IL KL G). From the USDA collection. SSE Accession # 117190
