Steele's Whippoorwill

Bushy and slightly sprawling cowpea with moderately low productivity. Fruiting stems bear 2-4, 6" pods each with 11-18 small seeds per pod. Plants bear light violet flowers and narrow green pods. Flavor is average and mild. Seeds are variable in color and mottling pattern, ranging anywhere from dark brown to light tan to a yellow-tan and with mottling variable in its' coverage.
