Single Image
VEGETABLES / TOMATO
ORANGE-YELLOW
Released in 1984 by Dr. James Baggett at Oregon State University. Parents are Severianin x Starshot. Red, round fruits are 3-6 ounces each, thinner skinned, and flavorful. The variety is parthenocarpic, so produces a crop under all temperature conditions (we had them setting in 40 degree weather in autumn). Fruits set during extreme warm or cool conditions lack developed seed. High yielder. Heavy coverage of regular leaves, determinate. 60-70 days to maturity after transplanting.
