HEAD
Light greenish-yellow butterhead. Forms a loose, irregular head. Plants are somewhat variable in ability to form a head. Lightly blistered leaves. Very good eating qualities: tender, fruity, crisp. Plants 6-7" tall, 12-14" wide. Average bolting resistance. White seed. A variety by this name was introduced in 1965 by the Research Station, Central Experimental Farm in Ottawa, Ontario.
