Swamp Milkweed

Asclepias incarnata , Swamp Milkweed. A lovely native milkweed that is better behaved in the garden than Common Milkweed. It stays in a clump and doesn’t send out runners. It has lavender pink flowers and grows 2 1/2 feet tall. Not only is it a host to Monarch butterflies the flowers are attractive to all kinds of pollinators.
