Pick Me Quick

Productive, uniform, short-statured plants grow 1.5-2.5' tall and tend to carry fruit on the ground. Violet or violet and white, obovoid fruit are born singly and average 3-4" long and 1.3-2.1" wide. Good flavor; slightly sweet; somewhat slimy texture; skin slightly bitter. Mostly non-pigmented plants except for light purple leaf petioles. Few prickles on fruit pedicels and calyces. Fruit become yellowish-brown at seed maturity. Lodging uncommon. Early maturing. SSE Accession # 109528
