Stampede

Tall, 5-12 foot single stem plants. Tubers vary in size, but large ones can reach 1 lb in weight per tuber. 4-6 tubers per plant. Blooms throughout Sept. Tolerates heavy deer browsing. Pale white flesh, tan surface. You will recieve 3-5 tubers, as close to 6 oz as I can make it. There are two seperate sources for these tubers: 1: Stillwater Seeds, which is a small farm in rural NY. I recieved these in person. 2: A farmer's market grower in Cleveland who said he had purchased it from a previous fellow grower some 15 years back. Hazy on the details, but to the best of my knowledge, it grows exactly like the Stampede I recieved from Stillwater Seeds, blooms at the same time, and is indistinguishable. The tubers I mail will be from both sources.
