Dusky

Deep purple skin at eating stage turns brown when fully mature; flesh is cream colored. Shape is more elongated than more common “Black Beauty”. This line has been selected, open-pollinated, for several years for large size; occasional fused blossoms can result in extra large fruits. Early producer listed as around 63 days from transplanting to usable fruits.
