Medium-large melons that are early maturing, round with slight necks on the stem ends. Flavor is watery and a little bland with a soft, rather silky, very juicy texture. Sweetness can be slightly sweet to super sweet depending on when you harvest. Melons left on the vine longer tend to be sweeter but are more susceptibke to rot, When ripe, melons are smooth without ribbing and have yellow rinds with yellow, orange and green mottling. Fruits are 7.5-9 inches long by 6.5-7 inches wide, weigh between 3.5-5.5 pounds and have a BRIX of 7.4. This variety is variable and produces both light green fruits with large splotches of dark green and fruits that are almost completely covered by dark green speckles and blotches.
