Flint corn. 3-4 foot stalks with few tillers.One ear per stalk. Ears are 5 inches long with 8 rows of kernels. Kernels are burgundy, yellow, and white with some variegated kernels. Most ears with burgundy kernels are on reddish cobs, while ears with yellow and white kernels are on white cobs. 70-90 day maturity. Cold temperature germination tolerant. Landrace variety from the northern plains. Donated to USDA in 1954 by University of Saskatchewan. From NY BE A3
