Penobscot

Gifted to me by a member of the Kaosek Western Abenaki tribe in Vermont. Reportedly from the Penobscot Indians of Maine. Similar in habit to Long Pie, Mohawk, and Algonquin pumpkins in that they look more like a zucchini until they ripen. Delicious pies!
