Sugar Magnolia Purple Snap

AKA "Sugar Magnolia Tendril". From seed packet: "A marvelous innovation from Dr. Alan Kapuler: the first ever puple-podded sugar snap pea. Sweet, dusky purple pods; delicious tendrils for salads." I had to grow these for two seasons; the first year the squirrels ate every single pea, including those I tried to protect with blossom bags. Worth the wait!
