A 2024 evaluation team favorite! Plant pigmentation is a bit variable, with leaf color ranging from green to to dark green, to dark purple-green; petioles magenta, red, and light pink. Erect growth habit. Mature plants reach 20-30" tall by 30-40" wide. Largest leaves average 15" long by 9" wide. Very sweet petioles, reminscent of an earthy sweet corn. Leaves with a nice texture and a bit of bitterness. High vigor and productivity when grown in 2024 at Heritage Farm. Acquired by SSE from Nancy Arrowsmith (AZ AR N) who obtained it from a European commercial source. The name translates as "multicolored." SSE Accession # 121316
