Lapp's Paste

SSE Tomato 3808. Foundation seed from SSE in 2024. Information from SSE: "This tomato comes from an Amish family named Lapp. This variety has stewardship history with the Landis Valley Heirloom Seed Project." I grew this variety in 2024 as a seed increase for the SSE Seed Bank. The population size was 33 plants. I was pleasantly surprised by this tomato. It produced 5-6 ounce red fruit with a point at the end. It made delicious salsa and sauce. The bonus was how high yielding the plant was. I typically expect tomato varieties to produce 10 lbs/plant. This one produced 14.6 lbs/plant. I highly recommend this variety.
