Haricot Rouge du Burkina Faso

Pole cowpea that needs support. Burgundy pods are upright when young, turn tan and point down when mature. Self pollinating but separation of 20' recommended if growing multiple types. I only grown this one cowpea variety. Small seeds taste great as dried beans. Young pods and leaves are edible.
