Aji Marchant

Capsicum baccatum. Beautiful large plant with the characteristic yellow dotted baccatum flowers. Shiny pods start celery green, turn pale yellow, then orange, then fire engine red. Very fragrant, on the medium side of hot. Good pickled when green or yellow, and makes great dried chiles when red. Excellent chile for San Francisco.
