We suspect this is a soup pea as the snap and garden pea eating qualities were not very good. The peas were astringent, not sweet, and rather small. Though there is variability in terms of plant height and pod characteristics, most plants are tall and vigorous, with medium-high productivity. They typically produce one pod/peduncle. Those pods are relatively small, green, and slightly curved. They contain 4-6 small peas/pod. This variety looks to be resistant to powdery mildew. Late maturing. SSE Accession # 114851
