Punuk (W6 27971)

Single Image
VEGETABLES / GARLIC
I got these from Br. Joseph. The bulb and umbel look like a Marbled Purple Stripe, usually 4 plump tan and pink cloves per bulb obtained from USDA, collected from the wild near Punuk, Tajikistan by Barbara Hellier. Reported to be a prolific producer of true seed. This following is the description from Garlicana: collected in a field near the village of Punuk, in NW Tajikistan, medium-large bulbs with 6-7 plump purple cloves. Complex flavor that starts sweet and builds to bright fiery finish. It has been a prolific producer of true seed.
