This eggplant is delicious and beautiful with a taste that is a mix of eggplant, peppers, and tomatoes. The fruit is round and a brilliant orange-red colour with green stripes and tastes best when harvested yellow/green. It was first brought to Rotonda, Italy, from Ethiopia in 1930. Unlike many other eggplants, it doesn’t darken when cut, so it makes attractive raw slices. Extremely productive. 70 dtm.
