Hickory King

Single Image
VEGETABLES / CORN
DENT
A classic white dent originating from Virginia. Many people assume it’s from Kentucky, but it is actually named after a small train depot in Virginia named Hickory, where a farmer was producing the corn, but did not have a name for it. The depot I don’t think is still on the map. One of the hardiest corns ever for pre-1900s yellow dents.
