Clay County Yellow

I’m not sure of the exact origin, but that it does come from Alabama. It grows similar to old fashion watermelons dating to late 1890s. However, it has to be a selection from between 1890 to 1920, since after that time, different traits were selected. I have classified it as a second generation (1890-1920) American variety.
