Alston Everlasting

Red, medium-sized, cherry tomato. Indeterminate. Regular leaves. Dense, bushy foliage reaches impressive heights. Good flavor. Juicy, medium-sweet, medium-acid. Thin skin. 3-6 fruit per cluster. Fruit 1.3-1.6" in diameter. Medium-high productivity. Brix: 6.2. Early to mid-season maturing. Donated to SSE by Susan Clausen (TX CL S) who originally purchased it in 1984 from Alston Seed Growers of North Carolina. Mr. Alston had indicated to her that he would soon close his business (he was in his 90s) and asked Clausen to try and maintain the variety. Favored by Clausen for fresh salads. SSE Accession # 125881
