Erigeron karvinskianus

Also called Santa Barbara Daisy. This small member of the fleabane family makes an airy cushion-like plant that is suitable for rock gardens and dry conditions. The tiny daisy flowers open white and darken to pink and then age to a darker rose-purple color. The seeds are very tiny and separating from the chaff is an impossible task so I will be sending a generous pinch with the fluffy chaff attached. I recommend surface sowing with the chaff 6-8 weeks before your last frost. Seedlings start out tiny but size up quickly.
