VEGETABLES / TOMATO
RED
Indeterminate, red, slicing tomato that matures late in the season and is moderately productive. Flavor is very good, sweet and slightly acidic. Fruits have some radial cracking, have a BRIX of 5.3, measure 2.5 inches tall by 3 inches wide and weigh 4-7 ounces. Plants are vigorous growers with dense foliage and 4-6 fruit per cluster. This is a favorite of George and Jerreth McLaughlin (OK MC G), Exchange listers who shared seeds with SSE in 2005. They received the variety in 1995 from L.D. Baker of Tinley Park, Illinois. The McLaughlins were living in Mexico at the time and contacted Mr. Baker through the National Gardening Association magazine. He indicated that the variety had been in the Baker family for quite some time. SSE Accession # 127227
