SWEET
Mid-season, yellow sweet corn with large, well-filled ears. Fair flavor with medium-low sweetness. Creamy and slightly chewy (somewhat tough pericarp). Ears 7" long, 1.75" wide. 10 or 12 kernel rows per ear. Deep yellow kernel color. White cobs. Plants 8-9 feet tall. No tillering. Green stems. 1-2 ears per plant. Silks are green or sometimes dark burgundy. Donated to SSE by Glenn Drowns (IA DR G) who acquired this variety in 1985 from Redwood City Seed company. SSE Accession # 108190
