Resistant to corn borers and created to mature in the north. A cross between Painted Mountain Corn, (Native N. Am. composite), and a modern research corn which has genes in it from every type of corn borer resistance in the world. 12 breeding cycles adapting it to Montana. 3 breeding cycles at Cornell University selecting it for CORN borer resistance. Open pollinated & genetically diverse. Flint and flour starch. Multicolored, predominantly purple for high antioxidants. Non-GMO. In need of continuing selection for uniformity. Offering 100 kernels for free to those troubled with borers. Request feedback. Seeking partner in development.
