Small, straight, pale yellow to white fruit. Good flavor, juicy and crunchy. Fruit have sparse black spines and are slightly ridged. Light green flesh. Fruit measure 1.5-2" long, 3-3.7" wide, and weigh 2-4.5oz. Seed mature fruit are dark orange with moderate scarring. Moderately vining plants have distinctly lobed leaves. Dense foliage. Mid season maturity. Moderate productivity. Donated to SSE in 1986 by Marian Hart (NC HA M) who received the variety from a neighbor who got them from a friend in the North Carolina mountains. The cucumbers have been raised in this friend's family over 100 years (SSE estimates since circa 1880s). SSE Accession # 109220
