Naturalized Daffodil

If you're familiar with Arkansas, you know that daffodils thrive in this region. I'm excited to introduce a unique variety I call the "Beautiful Ugly," discovered at Pearly Acres. These daffodils could be a naturalized variety, a mutant species, or an unfamiliar heirloom. If they are naturalized, they might represent a mutation that has become its own species due to isolation. Alternatively, they may be a sport—a natural mutation from a more common variety. Additionally, these daffodils exhibit split corona characteristics, which align with types like the Collar and Papillon. Notable cultivars that share this trait include 'Cassata,' 'Orangery,' 'Palmares,' 'Shrike'®, 'Casanova,' 'Donaupark,' 'Papillon Blanc,' and 'Winter Starlet,' all of which are recognized for their splayed and frilled corona segments. Regardless of where it originated, it's a delightful, vigorous daffie. These daffodils are tough, drought-tolerant, and prolific splitters. You will receive bulbs that can be planted in the fall or early spring. The price reflects the high cost of shipping. You'll receive 6 bulbs.
