Flat leaf; resemble reg. garlic chives but evergreen and only get 20-30 cm tall. Reproduce by rhizomes; bloom with light pink flowerheads in summer; very hardy. Original stock came from the town square of Gainesville, Mo. where they had been planted a decade or more before. Order live divisions in fall.
