Pole habit. Slightly curved pods. Mature pods 2.3-2.9" long and 0.6-0.8" wide. Average pod set. 2-4 seeds per pod. White flowers and non-pigmented plants. Dark green leaves. Mid-season maturing. Cream-colored seeds with sparse black/brown/tan mottling along the keel. Medium-small, plump seeds. Dry limas have a good, slightly sweet flavor and creamy texture. Given to SSE by Wayman Cole (TN CO W) who first offered this variety in the 1986 SSE Yearbook Exchange where he wrote that it had been in his mother's family for as long as his mother (then age 96) could remember.
