DRY-POLE
Pole bean with a strong climbing tendency. Light pink flowers. Green, slightly curved pods become yellow as they mature and develop a red blush. Weak suture string. Not recommended as a snap bean. Shelling (horticultural) beans are meaty with a classic bean flavor that was well liked by staff. Leathery podded dry pods. Mature pods average 4.1" long by 0.7" wide. 2-5 seeds per pod. Oval, cream-colored seeds have brown concentric rings. Dry beans have a unique, rich flavor with a meaty texture. Mid-season maturing.
