In spring of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic quarantine, I grew out some true potato seeds. This is the second of two varieties I selected as being worth sharing.
Tubers are round, smooth skinned, purple with pink swirls on the exterior and a patterned lavender interior. Good keeper.
The name comes from the Monty Python "Lifeboat" sketch, wherein one of the characters states, "I'd rather eat Hodges!"
