Pachyrhizus erosus-Jicama Is a tall climbing vine which produces beautiful flowers and a lardge white turnip-shaped root! They taste similar to water chestnuts, apples, or green beans. It is eaten raw, in soups, stir fries, cut into wedges and dipped in salsa. The vines reach lengths of 20+ feet! Roots are usually 3-5 pounds although they can reach 50 pounds. Flour can be made from the tubers.Soaking seeds in warm water overnight helps germination. You will receive 25 SEEDS. These are small seeds, not tubers, not chits, not plants.
