Large, pink, beefsteak tomato. Strong ribbing at the stem end. Cat-facing common. 9-16ozs is typical, but can get up to 1.5lbs. Bright, tangy flavor with some sweetness. Standard leaves. Indeterminate. Med-high productivity. Mid-season. Brix 5.4. Darrell Carmichael of Huntsville, Alabama received this variety from a neighbor in 2007 who said it came from his wife's relative in Newport, Tennessee and has been grown by the family for at least 100 years.
