White Queen

This is a short day onion. It is small and white skinned in a flat globe shape. It is roughly 2" high, 2.5" in diameter, and 2.5-3.5oz. The flesh is also white, though the outer layers were green during the 2021 growout at Heritage Farm. Most onions have only one growing center, though a few have two. This onion does not keep, it sprouts very early. SSE Accession # 133192
