Grandpa Goff

Highly variable in fruit shape from elongate to round. All fruit are dark green. Mix of seed types including black dotted, red-brown, white, and tan. Fruit measure 14-18" long, 7-8.5" wide, and weigh 12-21lbs. Red flesh. Standard flavor. Moderately sweet and crisp. Thick rind; 0.6-0.8" thick. Intermediate productivity when grown in 2015 at Heritage Farm. Mid-season maturing. SSE Accession # 132759
