North Carolina Giant

Large elongate fruit with light green skin and dark green stripes. Fruit uniform in size and color. Fruit 12-16" long. 7.7-9.5" wide, and weighing 13-26 lbs. Rind fairly thick 0.8-1". Pink flesh is sweet and juicy with a smooth texture. Seeds white with tan tips. Moderate productivity and mid-season maturity when grown in 2014 at Heritage Farm. SSE Accession # 127747
