Daikon type winter radish. Impressively long, white, cylindrical roots taper at the end. Most roots are curved above the soil line. Significant portion of root is above ground but roots extend deep into the soil as well. Smooth skin. White flesh. Outstanding, crunchy texture. A staff favorite in 2015. Mild flavor when grown in fall. Brix score: 5.0. Long season. Leaves are green, numerous, highly lobed, very long, and prostrate. Dentate leaf margin. Best suited for growing in the fall.
