Erica D'Australie

AKA Erika d'Australie. 80-90 days, indet., regular leaf plant, vines have good vigor. High yield of red to reddish-orange oblate/slightly flattened beefsteak fruit up to 1 lb. About half are round with slight ribbing, about half are 2-lobed. Round fruit tend to have smooth blossom ends; lobed fruit tend to have blossom-end scars or catfacing. Enormous sepals. Medium amount of medium-sized seeds. Despite its name, is not native to Australia. Very good flavor, with a perfect balance of meaty flesh and juice, great for salads or sandwiches.
