Ruby Treasure

Indet. Regular leaf. Moderate vigor. Ruby Treasure was bred by Tim Peters for fresh/uncooked storage. A very firm, smooth round and beautiful 6-8 oz slicer for red, ripe harvest. Average number of medium-sized seeds. Some tendency to side scar. Very split resistant. Meaty, low juice, no sweetness at all. Subacid. Thick skin which is very easy to peel. A good canning tomato, and also excellent for soups. Excellent flavor and color in storage. It has scarlet red firm medium-sized fruits that keep well into the winter. Tenderness and aroma increase as it becomes riper. Can store for 2-3 months, if harvested green. 85 days.
