Ornamental pepper. DIS pepper plants are short and stocky and produce a good number of erect fruit that turn from solid purple to pale yellow to orange to red-orange. DIS pepper has fruits that are produced at different stages of maturity on the same plant creating a beautiful show of colors. DIS pepper has fruits that are glossy, triangular and measure ~1.5-2" long and 1" wide. DIS pepper has ripe peppers that are hot and have thin walls. DIS pepper plants have dark green, glossy foliage with dark purple nodes. DIS pepper plants reach 18" tall. White flowers. Fruit are mid-season maturing. SSE Accession # 116735
