Summer squash with large, oval zucchini-like fruit. Fruit are dark green with light green speckles and have raised ridges. Plants are highly sprawling and do not produce well in Iowa. They're likely better adapted to the California climate, where the variety has been grown for generations. Market mature fruit are 10-13" long and 7-10 inches wide. Good, zucchini-like flavor.
