Very pale green, almost white cucumber. Short, stubby fruit are 3.5-4.5 inches long and 1.5-2 inches wide at market maturity. Brown spines. Smooth skin with superficial ribbing. Bright green flesh. Good flavor, moderately sweet and crisp; juicy; slightly bitter skin. Average to slightly below average productivity. Mid-season maturing. Donated to SSE in 2004 by Edward Kelly who received the variety that same year from Dub and Merle McNeely, Vale, North Carolina. The McNeely's have grown the variety since the 1970's and acquired the seeds from a family who had reportedly grown the variety for over 100 years. SSE Accession # 129518
