Peanut

Small tubers with yellow flesh have a waxy texture and a subtle nutty flavor. Pale yellow, small, russeted tubers. Most are elliptic (75%), some are round (15%), ovate (10%), or reniform (5%). Eyes of variable depth, evenly distributed, intermediate in number. Tubers average 2.5" long by 1.4" wide, 0.8-1.5 oz.. Variety seems to be susceptible to early blight. Excellent storage qualities. In 2025, Peanut is only offered as a Tuber. Peanut is on year three of it's growing cycle here on Heritage Farm. Elliptic and round, small (1-2.5" long), and pale yellow slightly russeted skin and yellow flesh. Started from virus-free tissue culture in 2023. SSE Accession # 128388
