Cooper's Mix

Interesting runner with a mix bag of seed colors. Seeds are either all white, purple with dark purple speckles, or tan with brown speckles. Plants have either all red, all white, or red and white flowers. Leaves are ovate in shape and solid green. Pods are green and straight to slightly curved. 4.75-5.5 inches long and up to 0.85 inches wide. Vigorous climber. Late season maturing and average productivity when grown in 2016 at Heritage Farm. Donated to SSE in 1997 by Hazel Cooper of Ennice, NC who obtained the variety in 1977 from a family friend. This friend was born circa 1915 and told Hazel that it had been grown in her family for as long she could remember. SSE Accession # 112755
