Corno di Toro Rosso, Troncato

Single Image
VEGETABLES / PEPPER
SWEET
large sweet fruit up to 9" long but not as pointy as the original seed from Cook's Garden, mature fruit that I pick green before the first hard frost will turn red indoors, keeps on the kitchen counter until Xmas, for pictures and planting tips see my web page www.curzio.com/N/cornoditoro.htm - also, please be aware that this variety easily reverses to the "pointy" shape of Bullhorn peppers, BUT starting in 2011 I have only been saving seed from fruit which display these two features: 1) "truncated" tip, and 2) few seeds - I've found peppers with as few as 13 seeds - please visit the web page mentioned above to see pictures of how to recognize fruit that is likely to contain fewer seeds, if you wish to order seed, please make sure to specify you wish "low seed count seed" BUT be aware that I only mail 3 seeds, because I have very few of them (more seed is sent along of fruit which contained higher seed counts)
